Rosters Announced for 2023 North vs. South High School All-Star Game at Dow Diamond

The rosters for the 2023 North vs. South High School All-Star Game at Dow Diamond have been announced. The game will be played on Thursday, July 6 at 6 p.m., and will feature some of the top senior baseball players from the Flint, Saginaw, and Bay City areas.

The North team will be led by head coach Dave Hubbs of Grand Blanc, while the South team will be led by head coach Casey St. Clair of Fenton. The North team features a number of players who are committed to play college baseball, including Will Braun (Saginaw Valley State), Cole LaMotte (Grand Valley State), and Drew Simkins (Central Michigan). The South team also has a number of talented players who are committed to play college baseball, including Brady Arnett (Saginaw Valley State), Zach Garrow (Ferris State), and Mason Szul (Central Michigan).

In addition to the players who are committed to play college baseball, the rosters for the North vs. South All-Star Game also feature a number of players who are expected to be drafted by Major League Baseball teams. Some of the players who could be drafted include Owen Sharkey (Saginaw Heritage), Michael Smith (Bath), and Jack Thompson (Bay City Western).

The 2023 North vs. South High School All-Star Game is sure to be a showcase of some of the top senior baseball players in Mid-Michigan. The game will be played at Dow Diamond, which is the home of the Great Lakes Loons, the Class A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Gates for the game will open at 5 p.m., and first pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
